Upcoming Special Events:

We are having our annual SOUP SALE on Saturday January 24 with pick-up from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Varieties are Chicken Pastene (Church); Cream of Broccoli (Lookout House); Ham & Bean (Church); Italian Wedding (Church); Loaded Baked Potato (Lookout House); Manhattan Clam Chowder (Lookout House); Minestrone (Sand Springs); Pepper Steak (Cigar Pub); Spinach Cheese Noodle (Church); Split Pea (Valley Hometown Market); Tomato Basil Garlic (Tom's Kitchen); Turkey Corn Chowder (Sally' Country Inn); Turkey Rice (Church). Cost of soup is $10.00 per quart. Apple Dumplings are for sale at $5.00 each. Deadline to order is 12:00pm  on Monday January 19th. Order early as some soups sell-out quickly. The Annual Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 467 Main Street, Conyngham on Saturday February 7th from 4:00pm -7:00pm. The dinner will be served eat-in or take-out. Tickets are: adults $12.00 and children 12 and under $4:00. To reserve a ticket call the church office weekday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm or Mary Lou at 570-579-6385. Ticket sales at the door may be limited.

A Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 22 following the 10:45am worship service. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this important meeting. All year-end reports from committees will be presented. Note to Committee Chairpersons – all reports MUST be in the church office by Sunday January 25th to be included in the report.

Live Worship Broadcasts:

The Sunday morning worship service and most special services are broadcast live on YouTube, available at https://www.youtube.com/@christlutheranchurch-conyn665/streams. You can download the bulletins from our Newsletters and Bulletins page so you can follow along during the service. Individual communion cups are available for you to use at home and may be picked up during office hours. You may also commune with what you have handy at home (bread, crackers, juice, wine, etc.) You can view recordings of our weekly service on our YouTube channel or on the Videos tab on this website.
